![]() I made, yesterday, a model of a pheasant out of Clay/Das and painted it today in Acrylic. I did make a female Pheasant but the painting went wrong so I'll have to re-paint her

![]() Thanks, glad you liked him. I didn't like his wings, thought they looked messy, I need a smaller paint brush. I liked his head, back and tail, but I think I might model another, now that I'm familiar with it I might do a better one.
I was comparing him to the roe buck, I don't know, do you think the pheasant's the right scale? A roe deer in real life is about three foot tall and the common pheasant around 16". So the height is OK, but I wonder if the chunkiness of the pheasant makes him too big?? Here's a picture. |
