The one I acquired was brand new in the package -- that's where the "Starlux" card came from. It is flawless.

Well, Christophe, perhaps you should! Starlux figures generally do very well here in the States.

The bongo and colobus are the last Starlux products for the wild animals line, they were made in 1982.
The walking okapi is from 1971.

$4000??? I couldn't believe that at all!
I believe the bongo is one of the most sought after Starlux models, but that amount is really out of this world.
I can deliver at least 10-15 bongo's for this money, those people must be crazy!9if they would be available at a particular moment)
Personally,i never saw it any higher than 30,-,and not a cent more...

But Dean, really great new additions in a very good state, they are really beautifull!

You could be surprised, Willy. Some toys can be worth lot of dough out there. Look at She-Ra's SPINNERELLA figure (Mattel), for example. This action figure was avilable during a very short time, in 1986. Believe it or not, today, a mint-on-card Spinnerella figure is worth... 1000$ US. Unbelievable, isn't it? Unbelievable, but true.

And that could probably be even more if put on auction. Auction fever is a strange and interesting thing!

Ok, I don't know anything about She-Ra's SPINNERELLA, but if someone wants to buy my Starlux Bongo for $4000, PM me I will sell it
