As to the realism, the painting of Papo moose looks more realistic - note the lighter painted legs and and antlers. Schleich moose is all brown, that is incorrect.

If you ever come across this in a store then check it out for yourself. I have started to collect the papo wildlife range but selectively. Most are excellent except for some such as the Zebra, female deer and calf, wolf and moose. The newer papo models are excellent and well detailed. The moose could have been good if only it was made in a proper pose.

I agree, Numaan - collecting Papo figures requires very selective approach.

Now I've seen the new Schleich moose and it's painting is up-to-the-mark this time - pale legs and antlers, as in real life. Hip-hip-hurrah!

I think the Schleich finally answered your question by giving you a such a detailed Moose. And not just one. But a whole Moose family with their new release next year.
