Not that I'm aware of--the only 'extinct animal' toob is from Groovy Toob books, for a title called "Gone Extinct". It comes with 15 figures, ranging from early Burgess creatures to recently extinct animals. They are not quite to the level of Safari or even WR toob figures, but there are some good ones in there (like the Arthropleura).

I would love to see them. Groovy Toobs conceptors must have made very good researches to produce those obscure animals as toys. And I love companies who make researches!

Keeping in mind that the figures themselves are of...varying quality. Some are very well done (for GT figures) while others are barely dollar-store-quality.

I can imagine that. In fact, I know no company whatsoever who only made high-quality pieces. Think of my Schleich Eagle Ray's paint which melted in summer and stained four other toys I had, in 2010 (that, in fact, holds a record in bad quality pieces) Or that Safari ltd Anatotitan of mine which won't even stand up, because one of the legs is bent too much on the front direction. It's just like the Bullyland Red Milan which is unable to stand up either, because the feet are too far back and close to the tail. As you can see, everyone makes mistakes and perfection does not seem to belong to our world.
