Default Repaints!

I like everyone else HAD, I repeat HAD, some really nice figures which couldnt be used due to terrible factory paint jobs!
But with the advent of the good model paints, use the GAMESWORKSHOP ones!!!!!!, these figs can now have a new lease of life and see the light of day.
Especially nice as some of these , the hyenas for example were the last models bought as present for me from my Mum before she died several years ago.
Others such as the giraffe are available right now.
See Quagga and foal, mandrill, bongo- yes a schleich scale bongo, grevys zebra, syrian ostrich, gemsbok, baringo giraffe and giant anteater half way through painting! And some others still in hideous factory condition. These are all Schleich compatible sized.
Im quite pleased with the results as most of them were repainted from memory from animal I used to work with, -Darwin the mandrill, Ayisha the giraffe etc- and by the light of an electric miners lamp mounted on an old helmet, at night while letting my elephants graze freely in the forest during this summer!see Limba , it looks like the Indonesian rainforest at night eh?
Not ideal painting conditions but it gave nice results!
