Default Ania Our top-sculptor!

To honour our top-sculptor here, i decided to give her a tread with her hand-made and re-painted models so far, and after new ones are beeing made, i will put the new ones here too.
I hope you enjoy these little masterworks.
You will see the quick progress in her works, and how some models are in progress to the final end-result...

This was her first model ever made known to me, her own Mandrill in progress

In the time Ania made this models, there were almost no Malayan tapirs on the market, specially not in this scale.

Ania thought that her mother tapir was too lonely, so she decided to make her a lovely calf.

Default The Snow leopard

A lot of you have never seen this model that Ania made.
She made it for herself too, same as the tapirs, but this one stayed un-painted as it was her wish to do so.
OI have only one picture of it.

Default The topi,elen-antelope and black bucks

For our other well know member Phil she made these nice antelope species.
I don't have too many pics of them, but Phil can add some later on when he likes and wants.

Here is the whole group, as it is the only picture i have from these animals.

Default The okapi's

Finally Ania had the time to make me my pair of okapi's i wanted, but i was in no rush, i think that helps for the end-result.
Here you can see the progress in making such an animal.
That the end-result is not always the same as in the first sketches or clay-models, you can see afterwards here.
My wish was to let Ania make the Schleich model in a smaller scale, and a female about the model of the little Britains one.

One of the sketches.

One of the first trial models, which never came to the end, because i was critical on Ania here, i thought they were to chubby and short-legged.

Left is the Schleich model, next to the first attempts.

I rejected these more or less, and i think Ania was not really happy with them, or even the material too...
So start all over again...this stupid Willy and his complaints...

Uuuuuuh, is this going to be an okapi???

Yes stupid Dutchman! They only need some TLC, and they will slowly grow!

See............

Default The okapi's part 4

Here are the last pics on those nice okapi's.
First some pictures together with the Schleich model, which is too big for his companion animals in the 1:20 scale, one of the reasons i decided to let ania make these models.

And they came in this box with label...

Ania did some re-paints for me too, which i will show in the next part.

Default Re-paint of the Schleich Przewalskihorse.

I think that you already saw before that this girl has soo many talents.
Sculpting,painting,drawing,photographing and graphic works too.
But that she could do very good re-paintjobs, that was clear to me too.
So i asked her to make a re-paint of the Schleich Przewalski-horse into a Tarpan, because there are no models of it(not to my knowledge), because this Western-European wild horse is extinct since the 1800s, and the base-model for this horse could be the same.
This was the end-result...

Look what a beautifull tarpan!

Awesome king of the European plains and woods before!

Into the collection.

Together with his Schleich Przewalski counterpart

Next part will be the re-painted Schleich cheetah...
