Default Papo Catalogue

Have managed to get the papo catalogue and am wondering has anyone gotten the following models and if so what are they like?
Black Jaguar
Llama-although this is coloured more like a Guanaco to me!
Yak
Chamois
Pelican
Simmental Bull
White Billy Goat

I'll be hopefully getting most of those within the next week or so.

So far I've only received two 2011 models, Llama and lion cub on it's back, here's the pictures:
http://www.laughinggiraffe.com/showthread.php?t=5554

My thoughts on the 2011
Llama: I really love it, the sculpting and paintwork seem perfect to me. In my pictures the eyes look slightly odd, like they're bulging out - but they're not, it's just the photo.
Lion Cub: Very very cute - the only downfall is the paintwork - it's a little orangey. I found that with the tigress and lioness with cub, the paintwork isn't half as nice as the tiger or lioness.

I agree, the tiger cub looks a little orangey to me also, however they are still nice and I will have to wait till I get my own lion cub to decide on it.

It's good they made a pelican! We don't see too many birds in the toy martket. Birds are always welcome to my collection, since they are not too common.

Perhaps it is because birds are so difficult to display realistically. Surely the beauty of a bird is in its flight. Human beings like so many of the animals are grounded and we are envious of a bird's ability to fly. Why are all the replicas of Flamingoes standing on one leg and not flying? In flight, they are truly alive.

I differ a bit in it. To me , displaying standing birds is much more presentable than the birds in flying pose as the wings dominate their body area .

But that cannot stop any manufacturer to make birds! If they want to represent them flying, well, then, they just have to represent them on flight! Why bother for the "realistic display"? Aren't toys made to play with? There is no problem in representing birds here!
