Default Indy 500

The INDY 500 is being run this weekend and there will be 3 women starting - if I remember, I may watch bits of it.

The women don't look too bad either.....

Well that wouldn't happen here I'm afraid, but it's more intresting

The system of the indy is much fairer then the Formule 1 although I don't really follow it, I think a rookie is doing great and is somewhere at the top of the ranking

The rooky's name is Hamilton and he is first in the driver's standing. As for things being fairer in Indy...I think it might just be that in Indy the league exsists to make miney and they will do anything to make more interesting witch will increase profits...In F1 they do it for the prestige....not to make money.

I don't know who won, but it was interesting in many ways. A lot of cars dropped out. There were some spectacular crashes - no one got seriously hurt.

They did not complete the 500 miles because of the rain. There was a rain delay at lap 113 and then somewhere in the 160s laps a winner was announced as it started raining again. Normally there are 200 laps to the race.

The Indy 500 is not a good track for rain and the race-cars drive on tires with absolutely no tread, so even the slightest dampness on the track is dangerous. It is surprising that for all the crashes no one got hurt, because the outer walls are concrete.

So I enjoyed watching as so many cars fell apart like the toy crash cars.

Somes I see some of the crashes in "most shocking tapes" and things like that and I have to say it looks spectacular, always wondering how mostly nobody gets hurts what is a small miracle if you see the crash

I've not got his name, but the winner came from Scotland.

That's it - as fine a Scottish name as you'll ever find.
