Default New Elephants

The two news Asian elephants from Papo are very good. The one with the tusks is a male. not a female as I thought, which looks awkward with the baby now. The figure is well made, however the detail with the colour seen in the photos isn't as good as on the figures. However the shape is very realistic and I love the trunk shape on the adult. The shape on the calf's trunk means it looks wrong not holding the adults tail. I much prefer the adult.

Very nice male, and I like the young, why can't he hold the females tail?

They're really nice Andy, congratulations! If they weren't so small I would buy them

No female asian elephant? That's bad. If they produced a baby, they should have produced a mother as well: that would be logical.

It's a shame as their male is quite good, a female would compliment the male and may work well with the calf, however he is still a very limited figure as his pose is too awkward to stand alone.

It's no reason for Papo for not making a female asian elephant.
