Thank You very much guys and girl for good words about my works. I have to say it was a big pleasure to make these antelopes but even bigger to hear your opinions!

Hi Ana, I do hope you can reproduce your finished models. I am sure a lot of people will make the orders from you.
This time I couldn't make a mold, but there is a plan for future to copy another antelope. If everything go good than You will see soon

Ana, your work is so good, it is why I joined this forum, because I saw the tapir and baby you made for yourself and I thought you could make my diorama much better. I was not wrong, and the first set of antelope you made for me was increadable, now I see the bentebok and only wish you could make more and more, to find out that you will be producing many animals only makes me happy and I look forward to seeing and recieving them as they are made, I can not thank you enough. You know my thoughts and list for the next set of antelope, then Africa will be done and India/Asia is being made, with your help the dioramas are much better.

Thank You Phil for kindest words! Your enthusiasm is always a biggest motivation for me, and hear compliments is great pleasure too

Magnificent, Ana!!
To me these benteboks are the best figures you have made. Your progress in modelling is obvious and it's great!

Yes, they are superb, really great.
But about the name...
I think, even in English the name should be bontebok, and not bentebok.
This word came from the early immigrated Dutch farmers, who went to South-Africa, to make a new living around there.
The word "bont" does mean colourfull, or having more then one colour, which is obvious in this animal.
A sub-species is the blesbok, and the word bles is the white marking on his nose, we do use it for horses too.
They are both closely related to the topi or tsassabee antelope.

The bontebok have arrived, they are better then the pictures if that is possible. As many of you know I have been rather ill lately, and on monday I had to have another surgery, my second in 20 days, so I have not been working on the models but yesterday I took the antelope over and snapped a shot with them on the diorama.

Here it is, hope you all enjoy
