I'm using a cheap airline and generally the price of seats goes up as the plane becomes full, so I thought earlier the better

We'll go by car or by train, so only the hotel prices are time-dependent.

It's happened, it was great, and they pulled out all the stops to lay on an interesting programme over three days, even feeding us, and we went away with a goody bag having eaten a beautiful cake made by Customizer in the likenes of the Scottish clansman Figure. What more could you ask for?

It also bought back good memories of the 2004 Playmoboard visit and tour, and this time I made it to Speyer.

I'd highly recommend going next time the PCC do this!

Nick has posted a couple of pics on the collector club site. (I don't think they are in the members' only section). Customiser's cake is stunning as one would expect.
Cheers

Thanks for pointing out the link Janette:-

http://pcc.pm/photo/albums/pcc-membe...ing-may-2014-1

I wanted to post the pictures here too, but the image sharing website I use - imageshack.com - now charges a subscription, and I need to find another provider. Any ideas?
I'm hoping to post pictures from the rest of the trip :)

Oops. Sorry for not sharing the link. I wasn't entirely sure if the pics were in the members only section or not.
Can't you put the images up as attachments Nick? If not a lot of people use Flickr though I really don't like the site myself. (I'm sure the NSA would love that cake pic. )
Cheers
Janette

I'm home, and I've got access to the laptop!

The 195.3 KB jpeg limit is no good, so looked at Flickr and then thought I've got a Tumbler account, so here are some pictures from the factory tour on the first day, after a talk from the head of production...

Some of the moulds were huge, making multiple parts or duplicates. The large ones cost over €200k each!

That's Tim in the hat next to our guide, with Moomic / Michael from Australia behind

Some new parts
