well he has some good results and plays well but the year is still young so who knows what the rest of the year will bring.

Barcelona playes well and I wonder if they will the champions league this year

Like Mad Nick, I don't follow football much if it all, but I wondered if scoring all 14 goals in my one match of the season might put me in the running?

I have to agree with Gab that Messi is the best footballer going at this
moment. However, there are many young players who may "blossom" into
superstars in the next year or so. Of course, Messi is what, 23 years old,
so he should have another 5-6 years before decline in perforrmance begins.
Kaka is a fine player, but at 28 or so, he may not be a pre-eminent talent
for too much longer.
