Pound for Pound King, Manny Pacquiao ko's Miguel Cotto
Congratulations to the new WBO Welterweight Champion Manny Pacquiao for winning his seventh title in seven different weight classes. And most especially, he strengthened even more the already cemented title for being the number one pound for pound king of boxing.
Mannt Pacquio has just beaten very badly the younger, taller, better and big boxer in Miguel Cotto. Although the Puerto Rican boxer has full of guts and strength in this fight. Yet he couldn't survived the blinding speed punches of Manny Pacquiao threw to him. Pacquiao's speed and power is too much for him.
Oscar De La Hoya retired after the humiliating defeat from the hands of Pacquiao. Ricky Hatton also retired from the devastating one-knocked-out punch he got from him. I think it's time for Miguel Cotto to retire from the game of boxing too. He has nothing left to proved as he himself was once a king of the ring too. But after the very bad beatings he got from hands of Antonio Margarito last year and now from Manny Pacquiao, I think it's time for him to think about of his health more than anything else in his career.
As for Manny Pacquiao, if Floyd Mayweather Jr won't fight him by early next year, I think he should step down too. As he already pick up the pinnacle of his boxing career and has nothing left to prove in the world of boxing too. Like Michael Jordan, he should retire when he is on his peak to preserve his legacy forever.
Congratulations also to the genius guru, Mr Freddie Roach, as once again he mastered the game plan of their opponents very well. He did it to Oscar, then to Ricky Hatton. And now, to Miguel Cotto.
MABUHAY KA MANNY PACQUIAO!!!
